Very Fine Antique Chinese Porcelain Footed Dish Tongzhi Mark & Period:

Fine Chinese footed dish or tazza dating to the Tongzhi period, 1861-1875. Superbly decorated with overglaze enamels depicting a monkey, deer and a bird in a tree. Marked to the base with hand painted Tongzhi seal mark and of the period.
Measures 13.7cm in diameter.
Very good condition with no chips or cracks. Slightly uneven shape which would have occurred during firing, gilding round rim is worn in places. A previous owner has engraved a couple of Chinese characters in the base, possibly postal code for security purposes.
