This lovely box measures 25 cm in length, 22.5 cm in width and 18.0 cm in height. A fine example of handmade wood craft without any indication of restoration. Nice wood joints with bottom of box making use of nails. The lid knob has been turned. The front has a raised area for a plaque. The wood has a distinctive grain which makes the box attractive and appealing. This box is Victorian or Edwardian.
