A Very Fine Old Sheffield Plated Basket / Bowl

This gorgeous basket dating to c1810 has been wonderfully made and innovatively designed.

The vine detailing is particularly beautiful

The base is tinned as is usual with Old Sheffield Plate

The underside of the rim is marked with a \'Hand\' which has been used for both makers Nathaniel Smith and George Smith.

In good condition - slight copper bleed.
