Thank you and Happy Holiday Season to All nice and very large 19th century example of the Spanish Navaja, knife favored by street bandits and outlaws of Mediterranean region from the 1600s to 1800s era, this fine and massive example mounted with the set of beautiful yellowish bull horn grips and brass fittings, having a strong steel back spring with a traditional ratchet devise to inflict even more fear to the opponent when unfolded, revealing a massive and very sturdy clip point blade which exhibits nice rich gray patina smoothly distributed throughout its length, one side bearing a very interesting struck maker\'s mark in the form of a Key. The knife remains in excellent condition, it opens and closes with a loud snap and stays completely firm while opened. A very impressive and exceptionally well sized example, would be a fine addition to any advanced collection of early Spanish Navajas.
