Welcome: This is a very nice older vintage (earlier art deco era) adjustable choker necklace for woman or man. ALL made of sterling silver. Made between 1921 up to 1924. Beautifully handcrafted with very impressive smith workmanship. Considered rare. An earlier design by the Napier Bliss Company, Meridan, CT (USA), established in 1875 as Bliss Company, changing to the Napier Bliss Company by 1921. Firm was active during the arts and crafts movement to art deco era movement of earlier 1900\'s, crafting fabulous arts and crafts to art deco chain link designs. Firm worked with sterling in their earlier work and changed to primarily costume making after mid 1930\'s. Necklace is an example of firm\'s impressive earlier work in an eye catching unique arts and crafts earlier hand laced design. Has large PRE 1930 type round spring clasp for reliable and secured fastening. Clasp will fasten to any of its link chain loupes, providing adjustable fitting length. It\'s very super heavy. Weighs approx. 136 grams. It was very well kept in smoke free Environment and is in excellent condition. sale starting price is very reasonably low, especially from this earlier well sought out crafting firm.

Fitting and Measurements: It will adjust up to an ideal length of 16 inches long and you can adjust up to 3\" shorter. Main body link width is over 3/4 inch (as in 23 mm).

Hallmark and Marks: \"STERLING\" with firm\'s block bold letter upright mark \"NAPIER\", (USED between 1921 to 1924, PRE-dating 1925 mark in oval script). Marks are located on both earrings.
