3,10, 383 pp. Full leather binding. Boards scuffed, faint writing on front board. Both boards attached, hinges secure and strong Folio. Text lightly foxed. Missing the title page and the 4-page charter which preceeded that. A fair bit of early writing, mostly names on the endpapers and also some early handwriting throughout, sporadically in the text.

An important volume of early Connecticut laws, printed by one of the premier colonial American printers, Timothy Green. This is the reprint of 1768, after the first edition of 1750, followed by session laws for several years, up until 1773. The first volume of laws for the Connecticut colony was printed in Cambridge in 1673, followed by volumes of acts and laws in 1702 (Boston), 1709, 1715, and 1729 (all New London). The present collection of laws was authorized by the colonial legislature, but was not completed until 1753. This reprint of 1768differs entirely from the 1750-53 original by including a table of ten pages preceding the text.
