Offered for sale a 1930\'s Pontiac Style Car Mascot in the form of Native American Indian with long Javelin/Spear. It may well be known as Chief Runamok and may well be based on a more exclusive figure by Francois Basin a well known and respected sculptor of the 1930\'s.
It is definitely old and vintage, and is VERY ART DECO in style. It is very tactile and the model is quite angular especially on the limbs. Please see the photographs.
It is heavy weighing approximately 1lb in weight or almost 1000grams.It would add a real talking point to any car enthusiasts collection, the patination on the figure gives a real impression of age. Please refer to photographs for the best impression the item. The base of the model isn\'t particularly eye-catching and a sympathetic choice of replacement would enhance the figure significantly.
Happy offerding!!!
