Very Rare- August 1972 (First Season) Opryland Amusement / Theme Park Souvenir Wall Map - 36\"x 24\" w/ Original Folds and No Tears

Dimensions: approx. 36\" wide X 24\" tall

A full-color souvenir wall map in Very Nice vintage condition, with only original folds.

The colors arestill bright and vivid (overall),considering that this printing isnearly 45 years old. (Please excuse the glare and/or shadows in the photos, caused by the overhead lighting)

This nicely-detailed andextremely hard-to-findmap edition was boughtlessthan three monthsafteropening day (May 27, 1972), and is one of the very earlyprintings of Opryland Theme Park\'s souvenir maps.

The map artist\'s name, \"B. Mipp\", appears near the sun in the upper-right corner (photo #9) andit has illustrations ofthe three original park charactersin the bottom-right corner (photo #10): \"Johnny Guitar\", \"Delilah Dulcimer\" and \"Yancy Banjo\".

There are no tears or holes, but there issome discoloration - mainly to the \"front\" panelwhich bearsthe original Opryland logo (photos #3, #7). The date of our visit, August 21, 1972 (less than3 months after the park\'s opening), is also written in ink on this front panel(photo #11).

Thereare no other markings or stains / spotson the map that we could see while checking. Finally, there is justsomeminor creasing to note. See photos.
