This is a fantastic and rare piece of Chinese export silver. Very rarely do you find a piece with its original box and makers label. The card case of swirling roundels of filigree surronding reserves of filigree peony design against a woven ground. The silk lined box covered with silk brocade and the label on the inside lid read WONGSHING, Gold & Silversmith No 15, China Street.The case is in very good condition, on one lower side one tiny roundel with a few wire pressed inside (see picture). The box with wear, and fraying, and dirty.Length of card case 3 1/4 inches. Weight 1.40 troy oz.
