A Very Rare/Fine Korean IronBrown Painted with Floral Scroll Bottle-16th/17thC.:

Korea, Joseon dynasty, 16thto 17th century.

The tapered, pear form vessel rising from a high ring footto the short neck and wide mouth

with rolled lip, painted on two opposing sides with abstract floral leaf sprays in underglaze

iron brown, applied in a shiny transparent pure whitecrackled glaze evenly over the surfaces, small sand encrusted on the base.

It’s in very finecondition without any damages but has some stains on body with use and age, it measures 25 cm H. (9 7/8”).
