This stunning piece is approx 8.6 cms long x 6.5 cms wide of curved oval form and in a brass finish. it has the words BRANDON BOYNE YEOMANRY, GLORIOUS MEMORY . WILLIAM OF ORANGE ON HORSE BACK AND 1690 BELOW.This piece has the date 1810 scratched on the rear along with 2 initials , The rear has 4 mounting points 2 round .2 tanged with some older modern wire around the lower 2. a fine genuine item it is one of 3 pieces from one family from Cork, There are a KING GEORGE BANDON UNION YEOMANRY G R Withe the irish harp arms between , and one South Cork Militia V.R crest to centre ,[ note these are not being sold as yet, i only mention them as part of the provenance ]

The 1690 badge is a beautiful item look at the detail on the tangson the rear and agingthe rear colour appears red paint on metal,
