Very Rare Victorian Silver and Oak Horseshoe Desk Paper Clip by Sampson Mordan & Co of London 1893. The paperclip has slight damage - one of the silver oblong studs in the oak is missing and there is s small hole in the end of thehorseshoe. There is also a rough join line in the silver at the base of the silver shoe. (see photographs attached). The silver is hallmarked S.M & C. The oak base has no damage. Although the item has slight damage it is still a nice piece.
