19 C. Very fine Ottoman / Balkan big size Jambiya dagger, with 9 inches blade forged from fine wootz steel with central rib. Long handle cut entirely from a single piece of walrus (organic material). Wood scabbard covered with brass or nickel plated brass with fine pierced work and other decoration at the top. Total length 14 inches. Tin coin or tag?, attached to scabbard of knife, sword. Very good condition. Very impressive and rare item.
