This is the last of four pretty little early 1800s Georgian watch fobs or pendants we are listing this week - this one is a very attractive and well decorated gold one (I don\'t know the purity), which has a dark stone or glass face with a crest or seal inscribed on it of an angel riding an anchor on top of the waves (I couldn\'t get a very good picture of it, and I also have no idea of the significance of or any family affiliation with this particular crest). The fob is 5/8 inch tall, over 1/4 inch wide, definitely gold, very well decorated, and in excellent condition. Please view the closeup pictures and judge for yourself (the piece has not been professionally polished). This is a wonderful little fob or pendant, and these 200 year old Georgian fobs make very nice collector or jewelry pieces, but since I do not know the actual purity of the gold or the material the crest is on, I have set the starting price rather low.
