Very nice large 1902-1922 Royal Doulton pub/hunt sprigged stoneware jug:

We are listing this large very nice 1902-1922 Royal Doulton stoneware jug sprigged with pub and hunt scenes in the Georgian style of a hundred years earlier. The jug is marked on the bottom with the impressed ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND logo with a crown above it topped by a lion (used in 1902-1922), and the impressed number 3584. It has a wonderful family sprig on one side (including a very large pig) along with a tree and fence sprig, a Toby Philpot sprig on the front, and a pub scene and windmill sprig on the other side. Under the main sprigs there is a sprigged stag hunt running around the whole jug (with a mounted hunter and seven dogs pursuing a stag toward a tree). The jug is 7.5 inches tall, 7.75 inches at its widest point, displays very well, and it is in very good condition. Please view the closeup pictures and judge for yourself.
