Victorian Antique 1800\'s French Fan, Large Black Hand Fan Hand painted Flowers, Vintage Ladies 19th Century Fan, Paris Boudoir France

This is an absolutely charming Black Silk Antique French Fan with White Flowers was probably made for a later Mourning Period. It is from the Victorian period 1880\'s- 1890\'s. As the fan consists of a layer of heavy silk, and a layer of lining, the fan is strong and is in very good condition for its 120 years. The multi-colored flowers and green leaves were hand-painted. This fabulous folding fan has a gold brass loop ring and black rivet at the bottom holding the fan together. The sticks are made out of carved ebonized wood.

This pretty antique black fan would be perfect in a frame or as part of a French Paris Boudoir Decor on a dressing table.
