This Civil War era shawl is made from a loose gauze like weave in tan and brown. I think it\'s either silk and wool or silk and linen. It\'s square and overall excellent, it has a few light, small spots and a 1/4 inch tear coming in from the edge. It measures 56 1/2 inches by 59 inches. It came with a CW Era dress, but since it\'s not a match, I decided to separate them and it\'s in another sale if you\'re interested. As ISThank you for looking at my sale. I travel a few days a week, so if you don\'t hear from me right away, I\'ll be sure to answer your questions when I return. The measurements are approximate, I do my best to measure accurately, but placement of the measuring tape tape can be subjective.
