Combination "COMBO" NAPKIN RING marked:

The CROMWELL PLATE Co. - CROMWELL, CONN. - Quadruple Plate - 708

Organized in 1881, sold in 1885, became part of the Barbour Silver Co. and eventually part of International Silver

This combo set includes a Napkin Ring fixed to the center of the frame with recessed holders on either side for the fitted Pepper Pot and Open Salt dish. A pair of hooks above the ring holds a Butter Pat. The frame has a ball and stick design trim around the base, floral columns at the base of the double handles and a Figural BIRD on a Branch at the top!

Measurements: 5.75" long at the feet, 7.75" tall to the bird\'s beak, the Napkin Ring is 1.5" deep

Condition: VERY GOOD - previously owned/used antique silver plate - a few little bumps and nicks, some pitting to the inside of the open salt and plate wear to the outside of the pepper pot (lid frozen in place), a few crimps on the rim of the napkin ring. The frame is stable but a bit top heavy, it needs to be on a level surface. The butter pat is a period replacement with a bird etched on the center - a nice compliment to the set - marked: Wilcox Silver Plate Co. - Quadruple Plate - 1601
