I believe it is made out of some type of metal like spelter \" it is quite heavy for its size\". Although it is not marked, I believe it may have been made in Austria or Vienna, as many of them were. The over all condition is quite nice with some expected wear to the finish from age and use. It displays very well, and would make a fine addition to any collection.
