sweet little antique stick or lapel pin, late Victorian in date. In a goldtone or gilt metal, approx. 70mm long. The head of the pin is a little gold star or sunburst shape, 15mm wide, which curves backwards, and is set with a disc of real silver in the centre (the gold part will be rolled gold and has a lovely rich colour but the silver tests as sterling). The pin itself is in base metal, with slight ridges along its length to hold it in place- in excellent antique condition.
