This is a quality Victorian (late 1800s-early 1900s) rolled gold & mother of pearl umbrella/parasol/cane/walking stick handle with 3 initials in cursive (as usual I cannot decipher) on the top of the knob. There are intricate, abstract repetitive raised designs along the rim & shaft of the rolled gold knob. The 6 sided mother of pearl shaft has an unusual spiral or ribbed pattern. The lower rolled gold band/collar also has some raised abstract designs. The handle is 8 inches long & 1 7/8 inches wide at the top, The only minor defect I can see is a small, shallow indentation at the edge of the rim on the knob.
