Fabulous Victorian sterling silver box with full hallmarks for 1898. This is a stunning treasure box for your coffee table or dressing table. Mythical magical theme with the Green Man mask & birds among foliage. Heavy gold wash interior.

Maker mark: JD WD (James Deakin & Sons); lion silver mark; Chester assay office; date letter P for the year 1898.

Dimensions: 4.54 troy oz (141.6g).

Weight: 1.39 troy oz (43.4g).

Very minor tarnishing to the gold wash interior but overall excellent condition.
