A superb very unusualVictorian sterling silver tot cup. It is hallmarked for London 1892 with theimporter being David Bridge known for importing high qualitypieces from the continent. There are also various German Hanau marks and themakers mark for Simon Rosenau. It has been beautifully made from thick gauge silver decoratedwith an 18thcentury scene of what appears to be a man beingconsoled holding while in the background his house burns. It isin super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures 1.75inches (4.5cms) tall by a touch over 1.5 inches (4cms) across and weighs 33grams. A very interesting example.
