This is an excellent example of a Sager Chemical Pugent Sound (double bit) Axe with a finely finished hickory handle with excellent grain and finish and a perfect fit. While this head has some light rust and patina from age, it is in very good condition. You don\'t see many like this. It measures 35\" from the top of the head to the bottom of the handle and the blade is 3 1/2\" with its head coming in at 12\" long.
