We are offering a vintage circa 1890-1900 genuine Rio Grande multicolor stripe blanket, wool is tightly woven and bound, fresh out of the estate of Novella Lineberry (1939-2013) and offered here for the first time. The Lineberrys were prominent Taos, New Mexico art patrons and collectors. In very good overall condition. Colors are bright and vivid on both sides - some fade to certain colors. Nice old patina. There are several areas with color run and some staining. Could definitely benefit from a good cleaning. No holes or other damage, no fraying, edges are tight and solid, fringe is intact. Measures 96\" x 58\". Shipping cost includes insurance.
