This vintage Mars Milky Way cardboard candy box held 24 Milky Way chocolate bars. Each candy bar was 5 cents. Candy bars only cost 5 cents between the 1920s to the early 1960s. This chocolate bar candy box would make a nice display piece and also would be a great addition to a vintage advertising or store collection. This box isn\'t easily found and not a common collectible.
The box is in very good condition consistent with age, material construction, and wear. The graphics and finish have little fading, The box doesn\'t have any tears or side splits, but it has a crease or indentation that extends vertically on bottom lid. The corners also show wear. It has been covered in plastic years back. Most likely to preserve this gem.
Size is approximately 6-1/2\" wide x 9-1/2\" high x 2-7/8\" deep.
A great gift for the chocolate lover or collector of these items on your list.
