Up for sale is a vintage 1920\'s paper mache Halloween Witch Lantern that I found here in Maine. This is a very unique hand made piece that has a lot of character and would be an outstanding addition to a collection of vintage Halloween memorbilia. The piece is a very dark charcoal grey with a lighter grey face and reddish coloration around the mouth and eyes. The lantern is in excellent condition, there is wax residue where a candle was actually lit inside at some point in its existence. There is a small nick in the finish at the very top of the witches hat where there is a vent hole to let the heat of the candle out. There is thin wire carrier/handle that is afixed to the sides through holes at each side of the lantern.The lantern measures 5-1/2\" tall , 4\"wide across the face, and 4-1/4\" deep.
