VINTAGE 1930’S JAYMAR WOODEN MOON MULLINS, A/O,NR:

I am offering this nice all original “Moon Mullins” wooden toy manufactured by Jaymar. It came out of the same estate as the Little Orphan Annie toy that I am offering in a separate sale. Moon Mullins was created by Frank Willard in the early 1920’s.

The toy measures approximately 5 inches in height. It is all wood. He is wearing an orange bowler type hat, black “suit coat” with a white “shirt” and orange “tie”. His “trousers” are green and his feet are black. His stringing is in pretty good shape. His facial features are big round eyes, a round nose and a smirky smile, along with little curlicue ears. He has a brown “cigar” in the right side of his mouth. He is signed on the front of his coat MOON MULLINS/ and what I believe is the name Willard in script at an angle.

This toy could stand a good cleaning, but as I am unsure how to clean a painted item like this, I will leave that cleaning to a new owner. Other than being in need of this cleaning, I see no chips or cracks or anything else that detracts from this neat vintage toy.
