Handmade Grandmother’s Flower Garden Vintage Quilt. This measures approximately 74 by 88 which fits a full or queen size bed.Created in the 1930\'s and completely pieced and quilted by hand. Beautiful stitch work, which is in excellent condition. The colors are bright and cheery, with yellow centers, green hexagon pathways, and green trim along the outside edges. This was created by a skilled craftsperson, it is a good weight, and soft to the touch. It is not flimsy and there are no holes or lumps in the batting.
CONDITION: VERY GOOD, Clean with very minor wear. There are a few stains, which I have tried to show in the photos, which do not detract from the beauty of this piece. The backing has faded along the center line.It is strong fiber uniformly throughout, a beautiful example of a Depression era textile.
