Here is a vintage 1940s or 1950s Heddon #10 \"BLUE WATERS\" 9 foot 2 1/2 ferrule bamboo fly rod for HCH or D line (modern equivalent is 6 to 7 weight). It is an9foot,3 section rod with all sections correct at 36 1/2\" length.It is missing 2 guides, one on the mid and one on the spare tip, and some of the wraps have loosened.Easily corrected at low cost. Hasboth the originalsockand tube (no cap) with it.It is afineclassic rodfor display or to fish once the minor flaws are fixed. Estimateddate of manufacture for this rod isduring the late 1940s or 1950s. Good offerding!!
