Vintage 1940s Dress Black Heart Novelty Print Rayon L XL Swing Rockabilly 40s:

· Super sweet novelty heart print dress from the 1940s.

Black (or very dark navy) background is adorned with hearts and a \"paint splatter\" pattern.

Pull-over styling with functional buttons at the neck.
No zippers. Belt loops but no belt (looks cute with a wide one - one shown not included).
Shoulders pads.
Rayon material with no stretch-- please consider the dimensions carefully as regards on/off and moving and breathing).

For comparison, shown on modern dress form with a bust of 36 inches.
Suggest a modern M to L.
Measurements taken while laying flat then doubled for the following:
Bust: 46 inches
Waist: 40 inches
Hips: 47 inches
Length from shoulder near neck to bottom hem: 44 inches (from waist; 28 inches)
Shoulder to shoulder: 16 inches

Great overall vintage condition structurally but there a few holes on seams that someone may want to address (one is shown in photos).
Probably wearable as-is but some attention should be paid at some point (this is reflected in the price).
