This is an sale for a true vintage paper doll set. I was given a massive trove of paper dolls that must have been someone\'s lifetime collection. There are over 100 lots, ranging from the early 1900\'s through the 1980\'s. Each are in slip cases or otherwise carefully preserved. There are many uncut ones in books, as well as antique cut dolls.
This sale is for an unusual cut set from 1949. It is \"Great BIg Paper Dolls\" and it includes 4 huge cardboard paper dolls and 30 gorgeous outfits. From Saalfield, this set is marked #2708, and the slipcase is marked RXXX. The clothes are printed in lovely matte colors. True vintage original, not a reproduction.
Please see photos for condition. Someone has written \"Susan\", \"Jon\", \"Jane\" and \"Sharon\" on the back of the dolls in crayon. These are antique or vintage pieces of paper ephemera, and in my view, all are in good or excellent condition for their age, but check photos.
