You are looking at one of Electro Voices most elegant microphones ever manufactured and sold as a variant by Ampex . These Ampex H-1390 microphones are much rarer than the Electro Voice 623\'s that were made during the 1950\'s. Clean, modern, simplistic...the 623 harp (H-1390) microphone is a 1st generation harp micin this series and it has a strong, clear signal. The polished chrome housing has held upvery well withjust a few tiny scratches and some typicalcorrosion on the tip as seen in the pics provided. The tip is made from brass however so it will never rust despite the chrome issue. This is a very niceexample of a 60+ year old Ampex H-1390.I try to provide the clearest pictures possible so you know exactly what you\'re getting. There are zero dents on this old girl. 100% original and in perfect working order which includes the on / off switch and joint mechanism.
This would make a very fine addition to any vintage microphone collection and the if you plan on using this for broadcasting you\'ll be surprised at the big sound and quality of the signal.
I would rate this mic a conservative8 +on a scale of 1 - 10.This is ready for any live event. Priced accordingly.I have another Ampex H-1390 that is in pristine condition listed on if needed.
