In the next fewweeks Iwill belisting many vintage dolls and doll clothes that belonged to me and my sisters, relatives, friends and from my own collection. My house is just overloaded and I must clear out some of them. Most are in very good but played with condition. This is acute vintage Factory Easter Dress &Bonnet set from the mid 1950\'s. Itbelonged to my little sister\'s one-piece stuffed vinyl or laytexdoll with a plastic/vinyl head with molded hairand was 26-28\" tall.My 22\" Saucy Walker is modeling so you can get an idea of size.Early pink nylon fabric with a bluenylon front bodice with flocked whitebunnies & carrots with green trim.A puffed sleeved, round neckwitha gatheredskirt andopens inthe back and fastens withsnaps (Mom sewed on as originally was pinned).Theneck andhem are trimmed with dainty whitelace. The bonnet is madefrom the same fabricasthe dress withlace around the brim and ties with blue satin ribbon. A verycute dress andbonnet setbut it needs some TLC. It has several tiny holes in the skirt and has had a repair at the right back waist where just below in the skirtis a small 1/4\" tan spot and also a 3/4\" line that looks like a pencil mark. I don\'t believe the skirt holes would show if the dress had a pink slip under it as the bodice is very nice with no holes and the sleeves are good with tight original elastic. The bonnet has several holes in the brim andside panels with two large holes on the left side and one has been repaired. The brim is very limp so would need a stiff backingadded to hold it upand the ribbons are faded and frayed. Please see the photos and ask any questions. I found it stored at Mom\'s and was always going to find a doll like my sister had and dress her in it. Unfortunately I waited to long and my sister passed away suddenly 9 years ago at the young age of 55 and I just can\'t bring myself to fix it.Other than the two spots mentioned it is clean and has no odors and would be darling with some TLC on an old doll. Please check the measurements below for fit to your doll.
Measures neck9\",shoulder to shoulder9\", underarm to underarm9\", waist17 1/2\", shoulder to waist5 1/2\",shoulder to hem14\". Bonnet inside brim 12\" and across back 7\".
My Ideal Saucy Walker is modeling and not included in the sale neither are her socks, shoes and furry friends.
