ALPS trademark, in original box, WORKSThis is a terrific rare, rare, rare find! Yes, it is a JOLLY Santa on
Snow (if you have snow, none included). This is an old, vintage 1950s made in Japan robot of Santa Claus
on roller skates. Yes, I know, it\'s in all the kiddie Christmas books
about Santa skating around the world delivering presents. If you really want to you can slide his skates into the blue metal skis.
See how this all makes sense, somehow??The Santa not only rolls along forwards and backwards with his battery
powered blue-wired remote control, his face also lights up with
excitement!! And for good measure, he rings his bell! Hey, why not?The roller skates have four wheels on the two brown boots.The skis look as if they have not been used. The Santa character looks
like he has been in his box for over 50 years, having little to no use. This is a fun find to spring on your holiday guests.The remote takes two D size batteries, not included because of the
weight. If the batteries are included, the shipping would jump to the
next higher level. There is no battery acid damage inside the case!
Looks new.The graphics on the box are terrific 50s style and with vibrant colors.
There are some damages, but the box exists. Hard to find. On the side of the box cover, it reads-- Two ways of playing, roller
skating and skiing. Direction: Please attach the skis under the roller
skates, then the Santa Claus plays skiing. (sic)Box is: 13\" (33cm) x 6.25\" (16cm) x 4.75\" (12cm).
