Vintage 1954 Easter Card w/Girl ANGEL in Pink Dress Looking into Lg Decorated EGG w/CHICK

Gorgeous embossed vintage folder Easter card with tarnished gold glitter accents to egg and paint pot and brush. Blue background to front. Little blonde angel (with tiny wings) is in the process of finishing the decorations on the large fancily-decorated panoramic egg. There is a little oval cut-out window from which a baby chick looks out. Card is 5-3/4 inches tall.

Signed and dated inside. Card shows some light perimeter wear, mostly just rubbing, and a couple of thumb marks, plus normal age-toning. Some of the burnished gold glitter has no doubt worn off, but there is still plenty left. Card comes from scrapbook and has glue residue to back.

Lovely card that would be perfect in a vintage Easter display.

COMBO SHIPPING: I do combo ship, so if you are purchasing multiple items from me, please wait to pay until after I have gathered your items, weighed them and sent a revised invoice. I do not require that my buyers pay immediately, so take your time to browse in my store and/or let me know if you will be offerding on sales that have not yet ended so that I can hold off invoicing until you have finished shopping. Each item added to the package will incur a minimal handling fee to help with the cost of doing business with and PayPal.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE: I typically ship twice a week (usually Wednesdays and Saturdays), more during holiday seasons. Please ignore the 10-day shipping timeframe that is shown in my listings. made me choose one and sometimes I am called away on a business trip, so occasionally it may take longer than 3 or 4 business days which is usually the timeframe within which I ship. It all depends on what day your payment posts. Sometimes I ship the same day payment is received, sometimes the next day, but generally no longer than 5 business days. If I am away on a business trip, I always try to alert buyers that there will be a shipping delay. I am a buyer who never likes to wait for my own packages to arrive, so although I simply cannot ship every day, I do my utmost to get your purchases to you promptly. Please don\'t let the 10-day projected turnaround deter you from doing business with me. If you pay promptly and let me know that you need your purchase pronto, I shall do my best to get it to you in time.****

SHIPPING METHODS:

CARDS: I typically ship cards by First Class Letter rate to save you postage. However, it is not possible to do Delivery Confirmation on Letter rate, so if that is a concern to you, please email me before paying to ask for DC and I will switch shipping method to First Class Package rate which includes Delivery Confirmation. Please note that \'s default setting for First Class shipping is the Package rate, but what you are quoted in my listing is the lower Letter rate (if package weighs 3 ounces or less) with a USPS surcharge for cardboard protection added to envelope.

BOOKS: I ship books Media Mail to the US; all other destinations I ship First Class International if book weighs less than 4 pounds, and Priority International if it is over 4 pounds. It is very, very expensive to ship Priority International, even with Flat Rate, so please ask about shipping before you buy. For US buyers, Media Mail is slow, so if you need or want your book quickly, please ask for Priority and I shall re-invoice you.

MAGAZINES: I ship most magazines by First Class Parcel rate. This includes Delivery Confirmation. Typically, only one or two lightweight magazines will meet the 13-ounce or under maximum for First Class. Beyond that weight, new magazines will have to ship Priority, old magazines, Media.

EVERYTHING ELSE: If item is under 13 ounces or less, shipping is by First Class Parcel rate. Over 13 ounces, item will ship by Priority: Flat Rate, or by weight (whichever is less expensive), or by Regional rate where available. I do not use Parcel Post rate because it is nearly the same rate as Priority and ships much slower.
