Made in USA with no date code marked \"reissue) indidcating manufacture date in the early 30\'s. Mechanical conditon is excellent. Cosmetically I would rate it as very good to excellent.
It shows top of the head is copper color and the bottom of the head is brass. Handle is copper color with a brass collar. There are no cracks in the handle and no corrosion. The brand Gillette, Made in USA, Patent numbers and Reissue patent number stamping in the top is sound.
I include a brass Gillette blade holder box that is in very good condition and an unoppened vintage Gillette Thin Blade.
All of this comes in a period case which I would rate good. The case is sound and the hinge is sound. There is wear to the leatherette finish. It displays very nicely and would make a nice addition to your collection.
