Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for a living. I am offering this 1960\'s era Atlas 763 extending desktop microphone stand. This stand is ingood condition. The chrome on both stems is rust freewithvery fewscratches and scuff marks.The lower stem adjustment works very well for extending the upper stem and is tight. The classic Atlas label is complete which is most often not the case with theses older stands.All threading is clean and in very good working order on the stems and on the base. The top of the base is ingood condition free of rust or discoloration and minorforming imperfectionsThe bottom of the base has all 3 rubber pads in place and secure. The base is 6 inches round. The stand fully extended has a height of near 13 inches and is around 8 inches with the extension down. A verynice and functional piece of Americana with the 5/8 threading for many of the 1940\'s, 50\'s and 60\'s era microphones.
