This sale is for the Marx Mystery Spaceship seen in the above photos. I\'ve listed this as used, but it\'s been used very lightly. Couldn\'t find a date on anything, but I know this toy was originally made around 1961 or 1962. This one is as complete as you\'ll find, and it\'s all in great condition. The hard plastic saucer has some very minor scuffs on the body and two bubble canopies, but there are no cracks or chips anywhere. Both bubbles are clear and intact. Gyro/crank mechanism still works very smoothly. Comes with original warning sticker on bottom of saucer (\"Start crank slowly...\"). Crank has some oxidation/flaking, handle is still solid. Base and stand are clean, undamaged. Figures, rockets, and space cars are mint and complete as well (including both astronauts that sit in saucer, and the tiny spring for rocket launcher). Many figures are still on original trees. The figures are in two sealed plastic bags; bags not original to the piece. This is the way I bought it years ago, someone had separated the smaller pieces by color and sealed them in bags (except for the orange space car, which I will put in another bag). Last, but not least, in terms of rarity, are the original instructions AND a pamphlet from Sperry Rand about gyroscopes (something you never see). Instructions are folded, and both paper items have light creases, but no rips, tears, writing, or water damage. Then there\'s the original box, still solid with great color. There are a couple dents on the front corner and lid, as well as some light soiling/staining on the lid. Also a small partial puncture on the bottom of the box. Overall, you\'re not likely to find a better example of this toy. Winning buyer should pay, by Paypal, within 3 days of the end of the sale. Shipping to U.S. only. From a smoke free home. Good luck!
