Vintage Kay True Tone Vanguard II Electric Guitar, made in USA in 1966Cool model from the 60s, tuxedo black with the hockey stick headstock featuring two Kay Pancake Pickups, switch and electronics old and working fine. Lots of dings and scratches, finish flaws and overspray (or a cheap original paint job/combination of the two), bent tuner shafts, missing control knobs and a newer strap peg installed next to old one. The tailpiece is in pretty good shape but is missing the trem bar and the screw and screw housing to lock the cover in place, it\'s pretty snug so it stays on. Original wood bridge working but old and brittle, adjustment screws present and working. The high \"e\" tuning post and gear are different and work fine, the original nut has a tiny chip that doesn\'t affect playability. The neck has a working truss rod and the frets have been leveled and cleaned up to get it playing again, but still are not perfect with some minor buzzing way up high on the neck. This guitar is more for rhythm playing than lead playing and sounds super rad and thrashy, like an old cheap 60\'s Kay should. The bridge pickup has the name \"Benny C\" scratched into it and some small dents, but works as it should.
