This is a tall hardcover, and is a Whitman Giant Tell-A-Tale (similar in appearance to a Big Golden Book). It has28 colorfully-illustrated pages that have no rips or tears, but which do havesome pencilled letters written on many of the pages (as if a child werepracticing their letters, but written lightly - could be erased). The illustrations are adorable! I believe this book is now out of print, andit is vintage – printed before upc codes, with 1968 the only date shown, sopresumed first edition. \"
