Vintage 1980s Navajo Two Grey Hills Wool Rug Tapestry Wall Hanging 32\" x 45\" USAFor your consideration is this sensational vintage hand woven Two Grey Hills wool rug by Navajo weaver Elsie Curley, circa 1980s era.This gorgeous rug was created with all hand carded wool and all natural dyes. The weaving is tight and the pattern precise. Measures approx 32\" x 45 1/2\". Gorgeous rug to enhance your home with!* Two Grey Hills arose as a regional style center during the 1940\'s. These Navajo Indian rugs are distinguished by the bordered central lozenge design, and use of primarily un-dyed wools in tan, gray, brown, white and deep black. Borders are often double or sometimes multiple and the central lozenge and corner stepped designs of these Navajo Indian weavings can be quite elaborate geometric patterns.
