Vintage 1996 OOP Out of Print Alice Starmore Stillwater Knitting Book Scotland:

This book is in very nice condition. The pages are crispand clean. No writing inside*, no underlining or highlighting, no marks on thepatterns. This book looks like it has spent its life sitting on a shelf.

*Just has previous owner’s name written in pen on the topright corner of the first page, and $20 in black marker on the back cover. See close up photos.

I recently bought this book and then when I went to put iton my bookshelf, I discovered that I already have this one! It’s Alice’s Scottish Garland book that I’mneeding!

Alice\'s patterns are just wonderful. There are 17 patternswith easy to read instructions and graphs. Including timeless, classic designs insweaters, hats and wraps for women, men, and children.

Alice is a Fair Isle genius and you won\'t be dissapointed with her designs. She also includes many textured single colored sweaters for those who are a bit intimidated with color-work. All are amazing and beautiful.
