“Tom Breneman’s Magazine,” #1, January 1948, from Farrell Radio Magazines. This is the only issue of this digest in the Steven Boss humor magazine collection, at Columbia University’s Rare Book & Manuscript Library. The $25,000 contest, advertised on magazine front, seems to have yielded a new name, which began in September 1948, but the choice,Best Years, may not have been worth the prize. Breneman was a well-known radio personality. Condition is excellent, minor bend to back page that is visable in photos. 128 complete, intact pages.
