This is a wonderful coin-op piece for your collection - cross collectible, actually - Coin-op dispenser, Perfume dispenser. 1950\'s Plastic piece. Looks like those I often see in old movies where the Barbara Stanwyk freshens up at the Phillips station, straighten\'s her seamed nylons and exits the bathroom all refreshed.
- Has it\'s original key and it\'s operable to remove the top portion to access the proceeds!
- I do not know if it works totally as I have no perfumes to insert. I\'m guessing it does as the arms seem to be fine. BUT - The right one is a bit tighter on the pull-down than the left, so the left may not be mechanically strong.
- Takes quarters.
- It is plastic (not bakelite) and measures 8 1/2\" in height x 8\" wide. The napkins within may or may not be the originals.
- There\'s a crack in the front, right as pictured. I do not know if this would hinder the dispensing of the perfume.
- No other damage other than slight rust on the back. The sign on the top has no damage, but slightly faded.
- I\'d date to the 50\'s - perhaps before.
- I am no expert on coin-ops-this is as found at a Kalamazoo Michigan estate. There is no return on this item.
