Rare Vintage Mid Century (1949 - 1953) ASR (American Safety Razor Co.) Heritage Brass Cigarette Holder, Lighter, and Tray Set.Normal aged patina. Lighter and cigarette urn do not appear to have ever been used. The flint still sparks. Looks like no lighter fluid has even been added to the lighter.Black Bakelite handles.ASR Made in USA is marked on each piece of this rare set.Great unique display item for any collector.Note: The last photo is a copy of an advertisement ad showing how the set may have looked in it\'s prime.
The \"Heritage\" Set was manufactured between1949 and 1953by theAmerican Safety Razor Coin the United States (Brooklyn, New York). The set consists of a lighter, cigarette holder and a tray. It was available ingleaming copper and rhodium finish or solid brass. A very original set due to its unusual design and theblack bakelite handles.
The lighter, as well the cigarette urn, are standing on three legs. They are marked on the bottom:
