This Native American, Alaskan Eskimo (Inuit) Fishing Lure is about 5\" long and made of wood with a single metal hook. The wooden lure in the shape of a small fish shows clear signs of prior use, including old authentic nicks and chips on the side of the lure. Beautiful twisted tail to make it wiggle in the water! Eye holes were drilled and may have held a shinny eye insert, but both inserts are now missing. Engraved mouth design and possible scales on the side of the wooden lure.Single, curved metal hook is not iron (magnet does not stick to it).
