The writing on the crate is as follows:

\"RUSSELMAN. BROS.\"
There are 3 cardboard inserts in the crate.
The crate is very good solid condition.
All the boards seem to beintact and attached firmly.
The lid has a wooden handle and fits under the top 2 slats to hold it in place.
It is still very dusty - I blew off the surface dust, but didn\'t want to risk fading the lettering, so I didn\'t do any other cleaning.
It has some white paint splatters on it, youshould be able to sand most of it off.
I thought it kinda looked like chicken poop and addedcharm to the piece....
Pootina instead of Patina...hahahaha
The 3 cardboard inserts are in dirty, but solid condition.
Very nice authentic antique.
