This is an antique balance scale manufactured by Ohaus. The base may have been refinished but I’m not certain. I also don’t know if it functions accurately, and it may be missing parts (looks like something is missing on the back side) - consider it an antique for display or decor only. It is labelled as having a capacity of 2 kilos.

This scale has attractive milk glass trays. There are a few large chips on the under-side of the perimeter of one of the trays, the other has no chips. I have attempted to show the chips in the pics. The tops of the trays are in good condition. Note that the bottom of the trays are dirty in the first few pics but I cleaned them afterward which you can see in the later pics. The scale has no weights included except for the single one hanging on the balance beam.

This scale is fairly heavy at nearly 8 pounds.
