Vintage Art Deco Acid Etched Peach Frosted Glass Chandelier Ceiling Light Shade:

Beautiful Art Deco frosted glass chandelier or ceiling Lamp Shade. It has a hexagonal flared shape. In ordinary daylight, the shade is a pale peach color but when the light shines on it, there is more of an amber glow. There is an elegant \"Torch\" design in clear on each panel. Please note that I have photographed the shade on black so you can better see the beautiful acid etched \"Torch\" design on the sides. I have also shown it in ordinary daylight to see its true appearance.The last photo shows this shade with 4 matching smaller shades I have up for sale separately. Shade measures 5\" tall; wide open end measures 5-7/8\" across from side to side or 6-5/8\" across corner to corner; fitter end measures 2-7/8\" across.I do not see any major flaws but the shade does have some issues. There are rough mold lines around the bottom edges. There is also a prominent mold line down one of the creases between panels that has been chipped. In my opinion, this should have been ground smooth when the shade was made but it wasn\'t. Besides these mold line issues, there are a few grayish scuff marks around the top section of the shade at the corners between panels. They could probably be cleaned off but I didn\'t want to attempt it myself for fear of damaging the frosting. Also, there appears to be an old scotch tape mark at the very bottom of two panels and a few minor white paint specks. Again, this could probably be cleaned off. In the first photo, you will see an internal stress line at the top of the shade; it is right next to the mold line. The appearance of the shade is very nice and all of these things are just very minor in comparison with its beauty.
